Programs

Medbank

Many pharmaceutical manufacturers offer a limited supply of free or low-cost medications to patients in need through their patient assistance programs. These programs are intended to serve as a "last resort" for patients who do not have pharmacy insurance benefits, are unable to use other programs and who otherwise would not be able to afford needed medications. MedBank assists these income eligible patients in applying for these medications. We currently work with 108 pharmaceutical companies. This program is grant funded.

Most pharmaceutical companies supply these drugs at no cost to those who qualify. Some companies charge a small co-pay. You must have access to a physician who will write your prescriptions in order to utilize MedBank services. Your physician must be willing to receive medications shipped to his/her office. (Some medications are shipped to the patient's home address.)

Some physicians directly refer their patients to MedBank through an online referral process. Please call to see if your physician participates in this program.
