The Partnership Health Center is a free primary healthcare facility staffed by volunteer physicians, physician extenders and nurses who offer their time without compensation to serve the healthcare needs of the working uninsured in Lowndes County. Healthy Living Task Force

The Healthy Living Task Force is a committee of the Lowndes County Partnership for Health comprised of a cross section of community leaders that are committed to improving the levels of physical activity and proper nutrition in the Valdosta/Lowndes County area. The Task Force had its beginnings in 2005 when the Lowndes County Partnership for Health and Public Health formed the Slim Down Lowndes Obesity Task Force through funding from the state to develop a community plan to combat obesity. Medbank

Many pharmaceutical manufacturers offer a limited supply of free or low-cost medications to patients in need through their patient assistance programs. These programs are intended to serve as a "last resort" for patients who do not have pharmacy insurance benefits, are unable to use other programs and who otherwise would not be able to afford needed medications. MedBank assists these income eligible patients in applying for these medications. Learn more »

The Partnership Cancer Fund

The Partnership Cancer Fund was created to assist area cancer patients undergoing cancer treatment with certain medically related expenses.Treatment can be costly, especially if you are no longer able to work or do not have health insurance. The cost of medication, durable medical equipment, nutritional supplements, and transportation to and from treatment often places an additional financial strain on families. Learn more »

Southern Wellness and Disease Management provides in-person disease management and wellness programs for employers who are self-insured. Our staff members meet personally with each employee to assist them in the management of their chronic disease, compliance with physician orders and navigation of the health care system.
