Partnership Cancer Fund receives $5,000 grant from Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition

The Partnership Cancer Fund has just been notified that it has received another $5,000 grant from the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition through its Cancer Care Community Grant Program. This is the second year in a row that the Partnership Cancer Fund has received this grant.
100% of these funds will go toward funding the cost of transportation to and from treatment, medication, medical equipment and nutritional supplements for cancer patients in our community. Up to $400 per quarter ($1,200 per year) is available to cancer patients being treated in Lowndes County or cancer patients who live in Lowndes County and are being treated elsewhere. Eligible cancer patients must earn less than 300% of the federal poverty guidelines. Funding is available whether or not the patient has insurance.
